This is a 600 Sq. Ft. ADU in Cambria,

Designed and permitted by Monique Grajeda.

The client wanted the ADU to be on the same grade as the house to facilitate handicapped access between the two houses. 

There is a very old Red Oak Tree on the neighbor’s property with a canopy hanging over the roof

with its root system reaching under the house.

We took special precautions so as to keep the Oak from harm.

I also designed and built the Steel/ Red Wood handrail system.
