I paint
for one purpose.
To be alive.
I don’t care about the form, the line, or the color.
I want it raw
like it really is.
It’s a constant struggle to get out of my way,
to find out how I connect
or don’t connect
to myself,
everything, and everyone
to find out what I simply am.
The final image
is never the one I saw in the beginning,
I already knew that.
The reward is what comes out
teaches me.
The gravy
is when someone finds part of themselves,
in my madness
too.
